Spring of 2012 - Day 51

April 6, 2012

Up to a bright and sunshiny morning.  No wind early today.  We all slept good, and woke up in a great mood.

Last night the moon was so bright that it came in the vent over our bed.  I was looking for the camera but fell a sleep before I found it.

I cooked sausage, eggs, and biscuits for breakfast.  It was good if I have to say so myself.  Cleaned up the mess in the kitchen, and got ready for the day.  Was nice to have Chris and Tammy here for the morning.

Tommy got here with his trailer.  They are staying out on the beach.  He had to go back home to get Carol and the rest of there stuff, so he left the boys here.

I rode my bike, the boys threw the football around.  I got back and the boys were headed for the beach.  Vonna & Tammy were headed for Starbucks, and I stayed to read.  Then I took the dogs to the beach for a walk.  Found a couple of shells for Vonna.  Sat in the truck, read and watched the kite surfers.  Really looks like a lot of fun.

We all got back at about the same time.  Boys were playing outside.  They took off for the water again after changing into shorts.

Vonna, Tammy, the dogs, and I drove down to the beach and parked.  We walked up and down the beach - it was a great afternoon - no wind and about 70 degrees.  A great afternoon.  We stopped by the ice cream store to look at shirts, and got an ice cream.  Drove to the parking lot to eat and watch the surf and people.

We saw Tom, Carol, Matt, Elissa, and boys heading for their campsite.  It took them a couple of hours before they headed back to our place for dinner.  We had a campfire going and roasted hot dogs and polish dogs over the open fire.

It was a great meal.  Tammy brought out the marshmallows and we roasted them.  The boys were having a great time.

Daniel and Jessica got in about 9:45 or so, and Tom took Matt and Elissa back to the campsite.  The boys were really tired and ready to go to sleep.  They kept asking for Mimi's house.

Tom got back at about 11 and looked really tired.  In a few minutes everyone was ready to head for there places.  Dan & Jessica were headed for Tom & Carol's to spend the night.  Tom & Carol to their trailer, Mike and Chris were sleeping in Tom's truck tonight.

It was a great day, but everyone was really tired.  We will be having the birthday party for Matt's boys tomorrow.
