Spring of 2012 - Day 29

Yesterday was a great day, as all of them have been. We got up to an overcast day, & it was like that all most all day. Surf was as breaking right out our window.

We took showers, ate a fast bite, & was ready to head to town by 10 am - early for retired folk.

We walked through downtown Carlsbad, a lot of shops not open till 11. We found a few antique stores. One was very large.

By 1 we were getting hunger & decided on Mexican food. We asked where the best one was & most said Garcia's. It was close so we walked down there. May have been a mistake. More stores open to visit on the way.

Great lunch. A place to go back to.







We thought going to 6 antique stores in Ocean Beach would be fun. We got there & it was cross between hippy town & antique stores. Lots of tattoo places, piercing places, & antique stores. We closed the antique stores, buying only a couple of items.

Decided we needed dessert before going home. Off to the Cheesecake Factory. We thought it wouldn't be to busy. We were wrong! Took cheesecake back to house. Had coffe at neighbor's house & called it an early night.

Thought I would buy a new car
