Spring of 2012 - Day 31 - Mikaylah Birthday

This will start a little different. It is raining and I wanted to get a poem on this blog this morning before everyone got on with today.

Vonna wrote the following yesterday. I think God gave it to her:

Today I know you are missing me more than all the others;
My grandma & papa my uncle Tom aunt Carol all my family, but especially my brother & my mother.

I was suppose to be there to celebrate my birthday with all of you,
But God had a different plan for me to do.

On December 18 God started talking to me,
He told me then that I would soon be free.

First he had to prepare my brother, my mother, & my dad,
He told me they would be very very sad.

He also told me I would be happy in Heaven above,
Because in Heaven there was nothing but Love.

Within 72 hours He called me home,
Never more on this earth to roam.

I know it hurts you all so much that I'm not there anymore;
But one day soon you too will be walking through Heaven's door.

I will be looking & waiting for you to come be with me,
And then we will all be happy & free.

So celebrate my life & remember me,
And in your hearts I will always be.

Today as you remember my birthday & what you think it should be,
Just remember I'm with Jesus happy & free.

So mom I'm fine don't worry about me,
My legs they work my lungs can breathe...I can't wait till you see me...
I'm happy and FREE.

The sun has set on this day. Would not want to go through it again. So many memories. Too many to put into words.

Pam & Sonny came over to spend the day with us. It was very nice of them. I made breakfast for us.

We headed to town to look for thrift shops in the area. Found so items Vonna couldn't live without. I found a fishing pole, but put it down & someone got it. Oh well, saved me $12.50 & a fishing license.

I see Mikaylah in the sky at times
Out to dinner at Claim Jumper. Food was good and they sang happy birthday to Mikaylah. Great time.

Home to watch sunset & find our bed wet. The vent over our bed was open in the rain.

So I'm down drying the bedding, thinking of what is to come, and writing thoughts.

We live a day at a time. We will aways wonder why, but God knows more than us. He knows best & we can only trust Him.

Love You, Mikaylah!! Run and play with all the Angels!! Happy Birthday, my Angel!!!
