On to the South - Day 1

April 18, 2012

We are on another trip. We flew out of SFO this morning. Tammy got up early to take us, our flight was at 8:45am so we left home at 5am.

For those of you that didn't know, this trip is to go to TJ's wedding. TJ is our nephew, Angie's oldest son, Brenda's grandson. This is a 3 week trip. We are hoping to make it to Washington DC area among other areas. But the wedding will be our first stop.

Finally got a cup of coffee at airport. Flight was on time. Poor Vonna had to sit between two big guys, but she did good. We read, listened to some podcasts, music, played games, & slept.

Changed plans in Atlanta, GA. Then off to Norfolk. We got luggage & rental car. Then off to Elizabeth City, NC. TJ had asked us for dinner, but it had been a long day.

We stopped at IHOP for our first meal of the day. It was ok but we were really tired.

Rushed of to the hotel. Got in the room, settled, & off to bed a little before 11. It was a long day.

We are excited about seeing everyone and creating new memories. It is going to be a great trip.
