On to the South - Day 2

April 19, 2012

We slept in this morning. Us retired folk can't get up to early. Put the do not disturb sign on door.

We went down to breakfast, or I did as they were closing up. Brought Vonna a bagel back to the room. We relaxed and left the room at about noon.

We found the Starbucks in town, did some grocery shopping and some of the items we forgot to bring. Old people can't remember everything. I now know why my dad shopped everyday.

How do I get the Milk?

Angie, Brenda, Bob, & Emma got here about 3:30. I was starving. Off we went to Chick-Filet for lunch. It was ok. Emma was sick, until we all ate, then she wanted ice cream.

We stayed there for a couple of hours. Talking & having ice cream & more to drink. It was nice to talk & catch up with each other.

New Hairstyle!

Then off to TJ's house. Brenda had to pin-up and hem his pants. Angie had to cut his hair. And then she had to color Mindy's hair.

We visited, laughed, and had a great time. By 10:30 we said our good-bys & headed for the hotel.

We got to our room & it was not cleaned today. Off I went to complain, wrote a note to the manager and was not in a good mood. Watched a little tv. Vonna was in bed almost as soon as we got home. I stayed up until about midnight.

Tomorrow will be another day and more memories!
